Eyedea Recognition

The list of recognized TAGs will be gradually expanded in future updates. The new version of the MMR SDK also includes an update to the list of recognized vehicles with new models for 4Q/2022 for Europe, North America, East Asia, Middle East, Africa and Australia. The software currently classifies vehicles into 10 categories, recognizing 275 manufacturers, 2175 models and 5786 vehicle generations. Eyedea Recognition, a leading provider of AI-powered visual analysis technology showcased its Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) and Make Model Recognition (MMR) capabilities to the Customs Eastern and South-Eastern Land Border Expert Team (CELBET).

This network, involving representatives from 11 EU Member States, focuses on enhancing customs control equipment and techniques. Martin Urban and Filip Kachnic presented how Eyedea's technologies can improve vehicle identification and border management efficiency. We were privileged to contribute to discussions on the latest advancements in EU border management strategies.

A desktop application for video data analysis that integrates MMR and ANPR technologies. The input of the application can be a video file, an online video stream, or a photo directory. The application detects and reads license plates and independently recognizes other vehicle attributes such as make, model, generation, vehicle color, and direction of view.
