Theia’s family of 12-megapixel, day/night lenses cover up to 1/1.7” 4K sensors while resolving the smaller pixel of the 1/2.3” 4K sensors with focal ranges of 4-10mm & 12-50mm. At 52mm long by 61mm diameter they’re the most compact of 1/1.7” format 4K lenses for use in domes, bullets & smaller housings. Theia’s SL940 9-40mm and SL1250 12-50mm telephoto lenses provide high performance at 5 megapixel and 4k resolution for 1/2.3” and 1/1.7” sensors. These lenses are IR-corrected to work with true Day/Night cameras. At 50mm or 52mm long and 54mm in diameter, the lenses are very compact for telephotos. Improving Image Resolution with Wide Angle Lenses
As the total number of pixels increases, the detail in the image or the field of view or both can be
increased. For wide angle lenses, rectilinear lenses increase the image resolution at the edges
of the image improving the possibility of detection and identification.
